OUR LEADERSHIP

About Us
Provisional Session Members

The early church was first established under the leadership of overseers or elders (1 Timothy 3:2, Acts 14:23, Acts 15:6). The Greek word for elder is “presbyter,” and the form of church government from where we get our name.

As a mission work of the PCA under Mission to North America (MNA), we currently have a “borrowed” or provisional session comprised of ordained elders within our presbytery. They will continue to serve our church until men within our own church body are elected and ordained to the position. This provisional session includes the following men:

  • Teaching Elder — Ed Norton; Independent Presbyterian, Memphis, Tenn.

  • Ruling Elder — Dr. David Caldwell; Independent Presbyterian, Memphis, Tenn.

  • Ruling Elder — Matt Olson; Independent Presbyterian, Memphis, Tenn.

  • Ruling Elder — Bo Mitchum; Independent Presbyterian, Memphis, Tenn.
